This project was a new and unique challenge for me. The scope was to take a bare bones Ram Promaster 3500 and convert it into our home to be while we traveled the country. By the time we decided to go for it, I only had 2 1/2 months to complete the project, all while working my full time job so needless to say my nights and weekends were booked. Doesn't seem like much but the electrical and heating components in this van are much more complex than any house I've ever built. Fully self sufficient with sink, shower, heat, range, and all your typical household amenities. This home on wheels gives us the versatility to travel the country and the freedom to live off the grid for weeks at a time without need to plug in to a campground. Finished it off with knotty pine to keep that cozy Maine cabin feeling we love so much. This project really expanded my knowledge and creativity in the trades.
